For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.
Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

We're cooked.
The cynical part of me wonders how many of these "we're cooked" comments are part of a psyop to discourage Democrats from voting
I think the "Biden is suddenly to old" stuff is a psyop, this close to the election. But the "we're cooked" is a general feel I'm getting from my friends, too. It feels bleak. However, I'm in Oklahoma so there's no way my state wouldn't go for Trump. So maybe elsewhere there's different opinions? I hope.
I also vote, even though I know none of my votes have counted since it's always a Republican that wins, here. I don't want anyone to have the satisfaction that they took my hope and resolve away.
I wish my feelings of being cooked weren't real, but unfortunately it's felt this way for some time. I'm still voting.

Oh man, he got Elon musks support. Didn't have that before. I'll still vote against the guy trying to end the country as we know it and replace it with an actual dictatorial regime.
