Kind of annoys me that the Finnish Wikipedia has a few paragraphs of the fate of the Panula family but there's this giant commercial Fandom wiki thing going on about Titanic victims that's pretty extensive. Wikipedia, too, is a victim of capitalism.

One of the reasons I love XeTeX, because it just spits out straight up PDFs and you can use any OpenType font. I can just typeset everything in Garamond, like how things are supposed to be typeset, dammit.

Technically, emoji doesn't even have specific flags, they just have country codes, conforming to the ISO list - actually choosing which flags will be included is up to the individual implemeters. Regional flags got a little bit complicated because they need to establish the conventions first.
