I thought auto updates not working was just me lol.

[SOLVED] Steam taking over 5 minutes to open, and can't sign in. (Was missing lsb-release package) in c/[email protected]

Oh I understand that. Eventually I got my steam to work outside of it but I was desperate to play games at first.

I found out what I did thru history. Strace against steam, triggered the error messages, then pasted the strace output to chatgpt. Steam was looking for ssl certs in a particular directory. Once they were symlinked in it magically started to work.

Are you able to try Flatpak steam? I was having ssl issues which resulted in blue spinning wheel but can’t remember the resolution..

I am a big fan of the second approach apparently.

Remember: the SUX 3141 Ti is 60% slower than the SUX 3141 Xt. because it's 5 years older and has no components in common. in c/memes

What are your thoughts on Zen Browser becoming a lot more popular than Floorp? in c/[email protected]

Zen has a superior UX out of the box but their decisions have been questionable. Recently Pinned tabs were changed to Essentials for seemingly no reason changing their behavior completely.

I had one ring of wealth i think +15 and the other one +2. Nearly died in demon halls and rerolled it to Tenacity which had a nice 92% damage reduction. On the way up I hadn’t read the amulet description thoroughly and almost died to the curse.

The wands were important too. Blasting, corrosion, earth, corruption, fireblast and the staff was transfusion. Honestly it felt like a perfect mix because every wand had a role in the fights.

Ended with a +6 great axe so the wealth didn’t help as much as I hoped. None of the wands dropped over +1 so I assume they don’t receive the benefit.
