Sorry, Kevin, it won't work like that. You're putting the responsibility of not smoking off onto other people. It has to come from you.

Good luck friend, I quit smoking 5 months ago and I've noticed that the random cravings have completely dissapeared a few weeks ago, I made it. First week feels like crap, but it gets so much easier after. It feels so good to be free of this shit, now I only have to tackle my porn addiction.
Good on you! Quit smoking in May 💪
Don't do it for us. Do it for yourself.
You made it to the front page of Lemmy.world.. good luck!
Two years, I wish the best for you!
180 days to make a habit, looks like you’re making a habit of not smoking. 😁
How will you prove this?
Don't worry. I'm watching this fuck.
Perfect!
It's on the honor system.

Post is at 84 upvotes. Think you can go that long then you can probably quit for good. Good luck!
Have an upvote. Good luck bud.
I quit smoking over ten years ago - smoked since I was 11. I still get super rare random cravings but when I give in, it's really, really gross. It literally only lasts for like a single drag and then ew. Good luck! This is the hard part, I promise. Once you're past your first month, it gets easier. First year, so much better. First five years, like it never happened.
Good luck dude
I quit nicotine this year. Wasn't a smoker, but used nic pouches for 5 years. It was definitely the hardest thing I have ever tried to quit, but I'm so glad I did. Just hang in there. It didn't stick my first time, but I got there eventually. No cravings at all anymore, don't think about it, and I feel so much healthier physically as well as mentally.
Please read the Alan Carr book, lots of people have found it a really effective way of changing your mindset around smoking, which is one of the hardest parts of breaking the habit.
Downvoted, gotchu fam, we can't let PMI et al suffer from missing your custom.
