Been an active redditor since 2009 when my friend showed it to me, and exclusively on RIF since starting to use it on a smartphone. I've definitely felt it getting worse over the years (reddit, not the immaculate perfection that was RIF) so maybe this is just what the doctor ordered. Sorry oldheads for being part of the wave of newbs but you're stuck with us now! Take it up with spez the greedy little pigboy.

just hit both of my accounts, nearly 12 years old on the older one, with power delete suite. edited and then deleted my whole post history and then deleted the accounts.
RIP Baconreader, been on it for the better part of a decade and the official app can't come close. This is a nice change of pace though, and I don't mind moving over at all.

Abandoned the Reddit ship when RIF went down. It's sad to see something go I've been using for the better part of 15 years. But, new things will take its place and reddit will probably die bc of their stubborn greed.
Sometimes things have to burn to make room for new things to blossom. I hope this is one of those times.

15 year reddit user finally migrating over. Never thought I would leave but here we go.
It's an odd feeling. I knew this was coming but could still check Reddit as I usually did via Boost. Now they're all shutting down and there's no option besides their own shitty app. No thanks.
