Been an active redditor since 2009 when my friend showed it to me, and exclusively on RIF since starting to use it on a smartphone. I've definitely felt it getting worse over the years (reddit, not the immaculate perfection that was RIF) so maybe this is just what the doctor ordered. Sorry oldheads for being part of the wave of newbs but you're stuck with us now! Take it up with spez the greedy little pigboy.
I've been using it since 2018 myself, saw a lot of fun and pretty insane shit happen on it, I loved browsing r/AskReddit and people just giving the most insanely terrifying shit happening to them at night or scary stories.
That reddit is pretty much dead if I can't use boost anymore, which hey! It's apparently coming to Lemmy so I'm excited for it.
Still though, going to miss everything I had on there. If I need something hyper specific I'll ask there but hey, most of my Communities are here on Lemmy besides a big cyberpunk one.
