Bulb pipette (like a turkey baster) and glass pipette (like putting your finger over a straw) have been around since the 1940s? Mouth pipetting was banned in most places in the 1970s.
Yes, I did say relatively. Although I did hear second hand that was seen by a foreign guest researcher at a facility I worked at about a decade ago.
