A classic joke, but usually told by a programmer about buying stuff at a grocery store.

[–] bi_tux 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Imo queues should be replaced with stacks the moment a dev enters the supermarket

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Stacks are LIFO, shouldn't queues be called FIFO's?

I recognize this character design and art, but for the life of me cant remember from where.

Didnt this artist do a lot of mass effect comics?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It looks almost like lewdua, but not quite, I don't think. I also have a distinct 'I know this artist but can't place it' feeling.

FOUND IT!

Maybe the OP image isnt done by this guy, but was close enough to fire off the neurons that remembered reading those mass effect comics so very many years ago.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

Wow the comments on those comics are horrible

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Thanks for linking - I just browsed through this guy's site and he's a total nutjob lmao.

[–] A_Random_Idiot 1 points 1 year ago

Yeesh, you're right. all I ever saw of his was the mass effect comics, usually reposted elsewhere.

The instructions that are being read are implying longer cook times if the chicken breasts are considered large. The joke is that the character realizes she has large breasts herself, and bases cook time on her own breasts rather than the chicken she's actually cooking

[–] morphballganon 1 points 1 year ago

I figured it was bread crumbs

[–] Panurge987 -1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Only the first panel is needed. The next two are redundant spoon-feeding the audience.

[–] Klear 16 points 1 year ago

I would accept a 2-panel version as well. Because boobs.

[–] morphballganon 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The look on her face is part of what makes it great. The whoosh

[–] new_acct_who_dis 1 points 1 year ago

Agreed! The look on her face sells the joke

[–] EternalNicodemus 0 points 1 year ago

Did reading two more panels cost so much valuable time to you, bro? Or do titties offend you?
