And same, just gotta be patient for the few bug fixes that are needed to make it all work smoother. I'll even try to create the communities I'm missing from Reddit over here. Hopefully someone more competent than me will come along to mod.

Considering how small 196 is compared to the subs I've seen be forced to reopen I don't think the admins'll even bother, and if they do try to do that the mods of 196 would most likely just refuse to reopen and the sub would be nuked for "not being moderated".
I would go back only if they completely changed course on everything, but I just don't see that happening.
The mods get ousted and are replaced with queerphobic trolls and tankies. The userbase essentially becomes the absolute worst contingent of r/197 users (of course not most 197 users, but you know the specific kind that I'm referring to)
