Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.
There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.

5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.
6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.
7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

I like your socket set thing. Most of the things I would use zip ties for I find double sided velcro to be better. I got a 1/2" roll from work like 8 years ago and split it down the middle to make 2 1/4" rolls and I'm basically set for life on cable management and such.
If it gets really dry where you are you may find you have brittle zip ties that snap apart when you tighten them. Nylon needs a little water for elasticity.
Personally, I still have the 1000-piece set I bought a decade ago in a plastic jar with a screw lid, and I put a little water in the container whenever I notice it's dry.

Same goes for nylon whipper snipper line; put your spool in a warm water for an hour before restringing. Some people store their line spools in a pail of water.

You need zip ties. A small bag costs a much as the large assortment bag.
Later you are traveling and need to fix something with the trailer. Same story.
You are now a hoarder of zip ties.

Realistically you only need two sizes; the small ones and "regular" size. Maybe wide ones for when you need that extra strenght. However, I came across this set of olive green ones and I'm a sucker for olive green, so here we are.

Very neat. Its always a nice feeling when you can organize your tools and things.
For me, I'll organize that sort of stuff and it'll last maybe a month or so until my brain goes "unga bunga me put tool down for moment" and organization goes out the window.
Then the cycle repeats.
As long as there's a dedicated place for each tool that table is incredibly quick to sort out no matter how messy it is. It's the stuff without a dedicated place that are left laying around for months.
Very true, my main issue is having a place for everything.
And also just not putting the tools away properly lol.

It's a work in progress. I'm just trying stuff to see what works. I've only been in this space for little over a year. I'll probably do a dedicated post about it when ever I get it presentable but here's the current situation.

Depends who you ask, I guess. My girlfriend doesn't seem too inspired by it where as a box of loose fasteners keeps me busy for few hours.

Thanks. It's a working concept but the execution needs a bit polishing. Tape rolls are really difficult to store while still maintaining first order retrievability.

I’m a plumber by training, but these days I work as a self-employed home improvement contractor and handyman. My services cover just about every imaginable job related to maintaining a house, both indoors and outdoors - including yard work. The only thing I don’t do is electrical, but I’ve got a guy for that too. My goal is to be the person my customers can call for almost whatever they need help with, rather than having to find someone new each time just because the last contractor only handled a specific type of work.

I really like some of the uses of PVC you've got going, especially the drill holders and the slanted ones under the window.

I do plumbing for a living, so it's a familiar and readily available material for me. Those are 110, 75, 50 and 32mm drain pipes.
How do you attach the pipe to the wall for something like the drill holders? I can picture something strong enough to hold up to the weight of a drill
The pipes are screwed onto the wooden block above them which is attached to the wall with pocket holes.
