The natural progression of capitalism and corporation is fascism; the fusion of corporation and state. Liberal democracy was supposed to prevent this via laws and regulations, but corporations chose to seize the means of democracy via neoliberalism and conservatism instead.

Every US corporation will be a totalitarian nazi corporation within a few years, so everyone should switch away from big ~~tech~~ brother, and all entities that do business with them.
