  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

Summary

Donald Trump criticized federal judges who blocked his administration’s funding cuts, suggesting they should be “looked at.”

His comments followed a ruling that halted a $4 billion NIH budget cut targeting biomedical research. Scientists warned the cuts would cripple labs and cost jobs.

Trump also signed an order supporting Elon Musk’s plan to reduce the federal workforce, though courts have blocked several of Musk’s initiatives.

Musk defended Trump’s efforts, arguing the judiciary and bureaucracy undermine democracy, despite not being an elected official himself.

And it works. If dems won't head our protests we shoukd swarm the judges individually since they've signaled that groups of angry people change their decisions.

Until you're ready to be a bigger threat to these people than MAGA is, nothing will change.

The judiciary is a CORNER STONE of democracy you illegal immigrant. But then you would know that if you had a legitimate citizenship here you prick.

Woah there, friend. There are several million legitimate citizens that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

Their knowledge of the workings of the government (or anything else, really) don't have much bearing on their citizenship.

Still odd for an individual who would have to take an exam on the matter for naturalization.

I agree with the sentiment but let's not forget that there are plenty of American citizens who think exactly the same way Musk does about this issue. Essentially, anything that prevents me from doing what I want is a flaw in the system.

Every day is mentally painful, the physical pain is not far behind.

Stay strong, make friends, prepare.

How, though? I'm not really sure what to do, even though I want to fight for my country.

I wish I had the answer. Short of staying with a group of like minded friends to help weather the storm.

And protecting those friends from the blatant gaslighting that’s coming.
