Lord of the Rings The Trick Taking Game. We finished chapter 9 last night. It definitely lives up to the hype. We've been loving it.

Silver Eye! Chapter 5 in the Silver card game just rolled out this week, and Silver Fang should be out later this month.

I highly recommend Silver as an easy pick it up and go kind of game. In my house we often don't feel like getting everything out (and eventually putting it all away) for the bigger games, and often just grab the quick and easy ones to pass the evening.

We got a few games into Charterstone many years ago and had to drop it. We picked it up again and are having a good time. We are also enjoying Yazeba's Bed and Breakfast.

I've played a sickass round of Spirit Island yesterday, which lastet 3,5h. Changing landscapes as the scenario and Russia 3 as the other nation was brutal. We've played Wildfire, Rampant green and Starlight and we've had so much trouble dealing with explorers. In the end we barely won through fear but there was no way to deal with all the cities.

Awesome game. I love spirit Island so much.

Sleeping gods with SO. Been waiting for the local shop to restock Tides of Ruin for our second play-through, and they finally did two weeks ago. Having a great time this week.

Don't know if they count, but we've played:

A gentle rain - a solo or not meditative game sort of like dominos. It's simple and relaxing.

Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza - I'm too old for this one but I did win once against my hated rivals - my children.

Moose Match Mayhem - quite a fun matching game.

I've been playing Behold Rome, a nice little in-hand engine building game, it's pretty tight, so I'm quite enjoying it at the moment.

Got a game of Clank Catacombs and Arnak in but we've mostly been playing Agricola after dinner during the week. I think Agricola might be a "perfect" game. I just cannot find any downsides.

Played Grand Austria Hotel for the first time. It's cute, and there are enough different ways to score that it will likely have good long term play.
