Well that would be against the 1st amendment. Not only are these shitheads running towards the slippery slope, they're already sliding down the mountain and dragging us all along with them in the name of staying on top and keeping their money. They will certainly not be bound by such laws, and there will just be more and more of this "haves v havenots" bullshit. This shit needs to be shut the fuck down. Now.
The shitheads have already threatened to use force against their allies in NATO and applied amnesty to participants in the coup attempt, so... Nothing is surprising anymore.

Yes, Xi made an announcement last week it will start off in one of the major cities with full removal in a few months. Chinese citizens will be able to sign up on all 'western' social media. The US opening Pandora's box with the TikTok ban has let the Genie out of the bottle. I suspect other tech to come out of China will make the US look like its living in the mid 1800s

The only somewhat relevant source was this article in SCMP from Jan 17th where a Shanghai party official called from partial lifting of internet restrictions in some areas.
