Fucking git gud. It's Mario. Not a hard game.
I enjoyed the hell out of Odyssey, in large part because it has these kinds of combos and such. Nintendo did a great job of making a game that anyone can play and beat, but yet still offers some challenge for the folks who want to reach for 100% completion.

Yeah, who is there to compete with? (The somehow-way-worse) NetSuite?
People have been talking about physical media "dying" since before the UHD format came out. Yet, here we are. I'm not super concerned.
How does he not know whether he wants to play or not? This dude's inability to commit has been biting him in the ass for years, and he's learned nothing.

It's playable via Rare Replay, though still a bit rough around the edges. Absolutely avoid any other versions as the controls elsewhere are unusually unusable.
Ranked is horrible thanks to the stupid (and quick) resets. Bronze ranked is full of players with multiple masters badges, 10x3s, 4k20s, etc. The whole mode is a joke and really you should only treat it as the normal BR mode without gimmicks and quitters.
I might pick this up if they toss out a 4k physical release.
