Please, no more sequels of mediocre nostalgia.
The Mask was a product of its time and a remake to present day sensibilities wouldn’t work.
Thats what they said about beetljuice, but i feel like that went pretty alright.
Oh boy, another IP to milk.
This is an old cow, but it was already milked out dry alright.
I mean, there were games, comics, sequels, a cartoon series, toys, costumes, merch....
Somebody stop them!
Son of the mask was the sequel and we all know how that turned out…

If we have to do it, let's make it comic accurate
I’d be on board if they absolutely retconned the previous sequel.
