Donald Trump's number two has found himself to be the number one target of several faithful members of the MAGA movement, including Jan. 6 rioters.

“If you protested peacefully on Jan. 6 and you’ve had [Attorney General] Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice treat you like a gang member, you should be pardoned,” the vice president-elect said. "If you committed violence on that day, obviously you shouldn’t be pardoned.”

That's the thing about fascist movements...

If you're not 100% loyal, your "one of them" and an enemy. Doesn't matter if 99.999% of the time you agree, that one disagreement is the same as not agreeing on anything.

The mob isn't loyal to anything or anyone. It could turn on trump very quickly

Just wait until Trump gets replaced by Vance, for whatever reason. There will be such rage.

Hamburger heart attack

Fingers crossed, but unlikely

It's not exactly a good thing...

Like, the direct comparison is organized crime. The mob wanted things to move smoothly, when you lock up the leaders the boots on the ground started doing their own thing. But they're dumber and willing to risk more.

It wouldn't be a war between factions, it would be each group trying to prove itself as the new rightful leader, in this case likely by committing terrorist attacks.

They're all riled up, they're not just going to turn around and go home.

Eventually Trump will end, and then a power vacuum will need to be filled. Things are going to get worse before they get better. Gotta bounce off absolute rock bottom.

treat you like a... gang member

I could hear missing pause of whoever originally wrote that statement

Ohhhh, this is what Vance is for. For the next four years he’ll get to deliver the bad news when Trump doesn’t fulfill his promises. Then Trump does Vances job while Musk does Trump’s.

He’ll get paid a ton of money to be the fall guy.

Anderson even went as far as to remove the MAGA sticker from his vehicle.

"Until all of the J6 defendants are saved I have to take this off my car. JD Vance has crushed the hopes and morale of hundreds of J6ers," he said Sunday.

I feel like the threshold for participating in treason should be higher than for having a sticker on one's car.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 5 days ago

I love how that guy things taking a sticker off his car is some grand gesture. Literally nobody anywhere gives a shit.

[–] Olhonestjim 3 points 4 days ago

Not the sticker!?

JD Vance has crushed the hopes and morale of hundreds of J6ers

Oh. Beat me to it, Vance! Well done.

The magards are like a pack of stray dogs turning on each others. It's quite pathetic.

JD had better be careful: MAGA VP's are particularly at risk of being strung-up.

Anderson even went as far as to remove the MAGA sticker from his vehicle.

The sacrifices one must make sometimes... Ripping a bumper sticker is like ripping one's soul for a magard.

I had a dark thought last night:

what if Vance attempts the 25th amendment and it starts a civil war?

Maga ain't going to accept that shit regardless who has to pull the plug.

This is “evil” in a nutshell. It can never coexist with itself. Esp. under a big tent.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 days ago

"Evil always turns on itself."

[–] knacht1 1 points 4 days ago

Like "Pirates of the Caribbean"...

[–] [email protected] 5 points 5 days ago

Stray dogs are comparatively nice people and should not be tarred with that brush.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 days ago

Actuarially speaking, there's a good chance we end up with President Vance in the next 4 years.

[–] jaggedrobotpubes 13 points 4 days ago

You cannot physically betray maga, since they themselves are betrayal incarnate. The physics of it don't work like that.

When you do it to them it's just funny.

[–] esc27 4 points 4 days ago

If nothing else, the next four years should be one hell of a puppet show.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

The prevailing assumption that Trump or Vance cares about these idiots is amusing.

[–] SpiceDealer 2 points 4 days ago

You would think that after what happened with Pence the Orange Menace would choose better VPs. Idiots just don't learn, do they?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago

No true Fascist.

[–] Arbiter 4 points 5 days ago

Man, the republicans really needed to loose the last election to secure their base lmfao
