Showerthoughts
A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

See how many tickets you have to open at precisely the same time to make the server grind to a halt. Given how long it takes to load even one, my bet's on about 10 before other users start seeing issues.
In my experience it's more like a to do list on paper with 10 things you want to open a ticket for that will grind the server to a halt, as soon as you bring it near your computer....
as can almost everything in life.
Lemmy is just a simulation video game about trolling online.

I’ve been leaning blender casually for the last 3 years and it’s definitely gotten to that point. Maybe it’s the inherent feeling of making something in 3d but it feels a lot like mastering video game controls.
I should finally get into that. I keep putting it off for silly reasons that will never be addressed by putting it off. Can't get better at making models if I never make any, much less texturing a model if I never texture anything.
Also one of my favorite finds in a related area were voxel editors. Highly encourage anyone into voxel art from games like VoxeLibre or Minecraft to look into them. All the fun of building with blocks with a lot more flexibility.
That was the case for me when I was learning different design pieces of software. I might have gotten too settled now and kinda miss that feeling.
