MODERATORS

Summary

Missouri voters approved Amendment 3, creating a constitutional right to “reproductive freedom,” which includes decisions on abortion, birth control, and pregnancy-related health care.

This makes Missouri the first state to reverse a near-total abortion ban by popular vote since the fall of Roe v. Wade. Passing the amendment was challenging in this conservative state, with Republican officials attempting to block the measure through legal and procedural hurdles.

The amendment protects abortion until fetal viability and permits it later to protect health or life. This shift may trigger legal challenges to Missouri's stringent abortion restrictions, reflecting the strength of abortion rights as a mobilizing issue for voters.

And overwhelmingly voted for the guy who will ban it at the federal level.

Yeah no shit he winning folks. So either their is massive fraud being committed by Trump, or majority of this country wants a fascist dictatorship under Trump.

My prediction is still to many racist, sexiest people in this world on both sides. They rather have Trump then a woman of color become president.

Also fucking morons voting Jill Stein. That show the Democrats for supporting genocide, not once looking and seeing that they all but guarantee that it will continue at 200% because Trump supports the genocide.

I wonder how many of those accounts saying Harris is the reason for the genocide going on will disappear now.

Or maybe they'll start saying the same thing about Trump, who has a lot more say than the VP does in foreign affairs.

Something feels sus to me for sure. The line i saw personally doesn’t line up with the far below average turnout rates

Naw makes perfect since. It just proves America is still a racist country. And majority are also sexiest. That includes women who voted for Trump.

Harris didn't stand a chance. It's sad but fucking true hell Trump winning the popular vote this time as well. America is now a nazi fascist country with the largest army in the world. So we can't even hope for rescue.

When Biden stepped down, I immediately said that Trump has won. There was no way the US was going to elect a woman of color.

I gained more optimism over time, but clearly my initial instinct was 100% correct.

If dems stated they are against israels course they would lose all pro israel voters to Trump. They probably expected palestine supporters to not be completely brain dead an reallze Trump is so much worse for them.

Yeah but in traditional Missouri fashion, they voted to elect people who will repeal it right off the bat.

“I’m playing both sides, so that I always come out ~~on top~~ losing”

Buncha dumb fucks. Get ready to learn about the Supremacy Clause, hicks.

President Vance is going to skullfuck you into twenty years of Y’allqaeda Law. You don’t get to pick which Republican policies you like.

Missouri is already ignoring certain federal law, so it might not matter.

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 week ago

Won't matter unfortunately.
