I wouldn't say he's a source of information at all. His videos are opinion pieces. As far as I've noticed he rarely gives any hard numbers, or claims to know things outside of the mainstream news.

Dude shills regime propaganda. Sure he explains some basic concepts in approachable way but make no mistake about his pro regime bias.
Gary's economics does critical analysis of how the modern economics operate and calls out different actors within the regime structure.
