"Vote for me and you'll never have to worry about women's reproductive rights ever again!"

(I love your screen name)

It's the truth, too

The BBC apparently believed it enough to do a "fact check" which inspires approximately the same response.

I don’t like their fact check about project 2025. It has more than have “140 former trump admin members”. He’s literally been meeting with the creators of the plan secretly since they started creating it.

"Women will have the greatest rights. The best I've ever seen. There's this guy, I think his name is Mullah Omar. I told him 'Mullah, women needs their rights. They need to be able to go to the supermarket, and take children to the park.' Mullah told me 'You're right Donald. Women need to do things... they need to contribute.' Mullah is a good friend of mine. I said 'Mullah, bah-dulah, acka-dulah. We're good friends. We need to talk about women's rights' and he said 'You're right, Donald.' That's why I'm fixing the middle east while I fix America!"

The biggest rights, the best rights, I know all the rights. Some say I have the best rights. The biggest and best rights, oh yes, rights you have never seen before.

[–] edgemaster72 11 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

So many rights you're gonna get tired of all the rights!

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Absolutely, but unfortunately I did not give you the right to speak after me, so would you please follow this big, strong officer while I tell these fine folks about all the rights I am going to steal from them. What a weird guy right? Speaking of weird, you know I have never been called weird before? It's weird right? Well not really, I am a very normal person.

[–] FlyingSquid 6 points 2 weeks ago

"I'm not the weird one, it's JD they're calling weird!" He actually said something like that.

9/10, the only thing keeping it from a perfect 10 is my complete straightforward understanding of what you're saying. Ramble more, he's good at that.

[–] [email protected] 21 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

But what about the rights to not reproduction?

[–] FlyingSquid 19 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You know what they think of women without children.

I now have two cat lady for Kamala shirts. Wore pearls and converse today. And I’m in deep red zone of TN. Loud and proud. We are everywhere! 😁

The fact that he has to explicitly and publicly state that shows his much his campaign feels they are in trouble. Not saying he won't win, given how many rabid followers he has. But comments like this indicates they are treading water getting their message across to undecideds right now.

Me: Tell us how, Donny. Share with us your specifics of policy and plan that will make this happen.

Trump: 20 minutes of rambling about billions of Mexicans pouring over our borders and how mean Kamala is to him

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

And another 20 minutes rambling about people telling him "he's a weird, rambling creep".

[–] hOrni 16 points 2 weeks ago

...reproductive roles.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 2 weeks ago

Holy snapping duckshit, what a weird fucking thing to say.

[–] Mobiledecay 9 points 2 weeks ago

I showed this to my coworkers this morning and they all busted out laughing. 😂

Politicians should be fined $100k+ every time they tell a lie, and if they tell more than three, then they're ejected from their roles and disqualified for life.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 weeks ago

Is that "disqualified for life"? Or "disqualified from life"?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah…it went great the first time, amirite???????

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 weeks ago

No it won't. Next!

[–] Numenor 3 points 2 weeks ago

In that did he really post it? Yes, he really did. I don't really want to link directly to Truth Social, but that's where he posted it. You can probably find an article linking to it if nothing else.
