This article is essentially a list, they link to their detailed reviews if you want to read them. Here is the list:

Wing Commander

Lost in Space

Event Horizon

Alien Resurrection

Starship Troopers

Star Trek: Insurrection

I would not recommend Lost in Space, but I guess that's why the writer lists it as a guilty pleasure.

So the 5th element is an approved pleasure for everyone?

Only if you've got your multipass

I don't want one position, I want all positions!

I'm going to go with... Super green.

Event Horizon is a kick ass movie that everyone should see.

that everyone should see.

Yeah, fun for the whole family. 😉

Yes exactly!

What if we don't have eyes? I was told we wouldn't need them.

There is a Wing Commander movie..?

[–] Kelly 5 points 4 months ago

I watched it at the time and remember it being up there with Double Dragon and Street fighter in regards to failed video game adaptations.

With hairless Kilrathi. That's actually all I remember about that movie.

Starship troopers is not a guilty pleasure. It’s a (at the time) misunderstood anti-propaganda masterpiece.

Lost in Space was one of the first DVDs I watched from start to finish including all the extras. I borrowed it from a friend as I had only one or two discs myself.

Its very interesting as there was an entire subplot cut out involving time bubbles on the planet. What fascinated me the most was that Jim Henson's Creature Workshop built a massive animatronic creature about 8 or 9ft tall. Remember that annoying CGI space monkey thing the girl has, it was that fully grown. And sadly, the entire sequence was cut from the film.

If you'll settle for some series that scream 90s, Babylon 5, and Space above and Beyond are increadibly 90s.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 months ago

Nah, Babylon 5 is just a good series in general.

It's an article on 90s movies.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Wow. I was sure pandorum was 90s. To me, event horizon and pandorum are like Armageddon and deep impact

[–] setsneedtofeed 1 points 4 months ago

I saw Pandorum in theaters for some reason. I distinctly remember when. I think remembering it as a 90s movie isn't too crazy, especially if your brain slots it next to Event Horizon.
