Sports and entertainment are down across the board. They can't sell tickets because people can't afford a night out, so this is their attempt to drive sales. They aren't throwing families a bone, they are trying not to have to draft players with a much smaller budget next year. You can't sell any concessions if people won't buy tickets.

This is inspired by the silver age comics, much lighter tone. Audiences balked at the dark broodiness of the Snyder-verse.

LCARS is the name for the fictional user interface from the next generation era of star trek shows. There were 3 shows set during this era with 7 seasons each airing from the late 80s to the early 2000s. So there's a lot of star trek content featuring this design aesthetic which makes it popular among fans.

Helps when you own half the studios.

It's the web version of a vision board where you cut out images and put them on a board. But it links to the source as well.

Before the pandemic there were a few homeassistant/smart home YouTubers on the floor of CES every day putting videos out about the new devices they saw throughout the day. I haven't seen any of them doing that since the pandemic.

Anyone know of one that is still doing that or the best place to get summaries of new devices from CES with a smart home focus?
