Ask her to pay you by sharing a meal, which is actually another kindness to her.

That wasn't a court case. Just a an act of Congress.

As someone who lives in one of the two or three states where pay being listed in the job posting is now a legal requirement. Yes, ideally they should be. But our state just put this into law this year. And prior to that I think there was only one other US state with the requirement.

It's always taxes, just FYI. Any legal battle over what one product is or isn't, is always about taxes.

Administrators at prestigious schools are just low grade politicians.

They pulled their wireless home Internet service which mostly targets rural areas where companies like AT&T never laid fiber and have started abandoning their copper networks. It's a lot harder for smaller rural communities to do municipal broadband because the costs are much higher per household. Not impossible, but more of an uphill battle. In some GOP states it's even outlawed. In NY hopefully people can get grants for them.

Just giving the people what they voted for. A complete lack of accountability among the leaders of the country and anyone who associates with them.

Unfortunately in the US conservatives are always using words they don't understand to describe the opposition.

Looking for positives, but especially negatives. What are the pitfalls of not granting corporations the same rights as people/citizens?

A conversation with Ali Breland about the long-simmering ideas animating Silicon Valley’s rightward turn.

Before the pandemic there were a few homeassistant/smart home YouTubers on the floor of CES every day putting videos out about the new devices they saw throughout the day. I haven't seen any of them doing that since the pandemic.

Anyone know of one that is still doing that or the best place to get summaries of new devices from CES with a smart home focus?
