The official guidance has to come from Crowdstrike since it's their problem, but this tip has helped on about 50% of our affected machines so far.

That sounds like it takes an insane amount of time though. Windows has always been slow to boot, but 15 times is crazy

So when normal boot procedures run into BSOD again and again, Windows decides to go into maintainence or emergency mode automatically after a number of rounds? I'm positively surprised, I had not expected the system to be smart enough for that.
