Fucking finally. Also, lmao, the article points out that Kushner failed to pass scrutiny a security clearance. Iirc, that was because they said he was a clear security risk, and the only reason he ended up with a clearance was his father in law gave him one.

He in fact failed numerous times because they kept giving him 'do-overs' to revise his forms, which he would do, and then fail again. I wonder how many do-overs the rest of us would get after blatantly lying on security clearance applications.

Do you have a source that shows that he failed multiple times?

I wonder how many do-overs the rest of us would get after blatantly lying on security clearance applications.

Zero. The answer is zero. When you fill out the form for your security clearance application you are told to retain a copy and use it when completing your renewals because even minor differences between applications will raise questions. Dot correct previous mistakes, let them ride since they passed scrutiny before.

Being caught in an outright lie would be immediately disqualifying for anyone except, apparently, Kushner.

I think we had very different experiences filling that form out. The form itself is just the basis for the interview. They'll ask why isn't that trip to Canada mentioned on the new form, you'll say you forgot and nobody will care because it was a trip to Canada.

The real advice is you can pull your exit and entry data from CBPS; your previous addresses from a credit agency; and your work history from the IRS or SSA.

Then the person assigned still isn't the one to actually make a decision, just a recommendation. So if they say they don't recommend you, but in the report it's based on something like a minor date change for a job, nobody at the agency hiring you is going to care about that

That said, there might be questions if you magic up a new Cuban step father or something.

By fail you mean lie.
He would lie on the federal forms just like Hunter and they'd tear them up and let kush redo them.

Feels like Trump's ties to the Saudis and Emeratis don't get enough attention. The Russia stuff is definitely important as well but in these cases you have business dealing with actual state officials.

Edit: actually the other thing was with Oman not the UAE.

Could have began investigation of these things on day 1 of the new administration/ congress.
