  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

Oh no! The crazy spoiler candidate they help fund and put all over right wing media is taking voters from the right wing? Wow I am shocked. If only someone could have seen this coming.

“If the Trump campaign doesn’t see this as a concern, then they’re delusional,”

🤔

On paper, he’s meant to peel the less critical-thinking voters off from the Democrats (with the Kennedy mystique and anti-vaccine rhetoric). In reality, a significant number of those would have already gone over to Trump (think QAnon yoga bunnies and such).

Bobby Kennedy will take even more votes from Trump as time goes on. The reason is simple. He's been entirely locked out of the left wing information sphere by being labeled anti-vax. That's a plus in the right wing sphere.

I mean, he's got plenty of other things going for him to get him "locked out" of the left wing information sphere

Am I being way too cynical by thinking this sudden burst of "RFK actually bad for Trump" content that seems to be everywhere is actually some kind of reverse phycology propaganda trick to make the left leaning folks let it play out?

It's still affecting both sides, but there is evidence it's affecting R more. Still something to worry about. I have a neighbor who had a trump sign up in his yard until RFK got his campaign going when he switched. That's the only physical proof I have he is removing trump support.

One of my maga family members anyway said they're voting for RFK jr

[–] ATDA 10 points 8 months ago (1 children)

I know it's just my anecdotal experience but I don't know a single Biden or Trump voter that's been lost to rfk jr.

Both sides just see him as a spoiler or have no idea who he is.

I personally think he'd appeal more to the less informed conspiracy types but he's got no where the charisma or draw Trump does to that crowd.

They picked a bad spoiler candidate. He's going to leech some Qultist votes and that's it.

Jesse Ventura might have actually done some damage. Buys the same conspiracies, but also believes in unions and universal healthcare, instead of RFK's "centrist" nonsense.

Splitting the Republican vote is the best thing that could happen to this country right now.

Oh for real?
