Of course this is no surprise, but even so, his partners are giant fools. They pitched the idea to Trump, built the platform for him, and in return they got to keep only 10% of their company. What absolute suckers.
On the other hand without his involvement the platform would have very likely just been another wanna be right wing social media attempt.
Did they seriously not know who he is?

I'm convinced that by now everyone must know that doing business with Trump means you're going to get ripped off. They just try to use his notoriety to scam others even harder to make some profit before it all falls apart. There's a pool of consumers that will throw money at anything Trump/Freedom/Anti-Woke labelled, so the snake-oil purveyors of our times try to get their piece of the pie. Inevitably they realize that making money because Trump's on the team is like being in a car that's super fast because it's falling off a cliff.
