Absolutely, I'm fighting off a nap right now.

Take the nap!
I've been caving (spelunking isn't really used in the community anymore - too many connotations with dudebro "weekend warrior" types) a few times before and while the idea of it terrifies me and I'd never do it alone, every time was super enjoyable. The time dilation aspect is real though. Spent 18 hours once, felt like maybe 3. And cave naps are where it's at. Something primordial in our brains
I know I’m picturing this wrong, but I worry I would feel bugs/lizards/rodents constantly crawling over me. Are caves not just bursting with small life?
I do sleep better in cooler conditions, so maybe I should consider upgrading from renting a house to renting a cave
I am clearly not a creature of the daylight (though I'm also definitely not the type for extreme sports).
This sounds like something Pennywise might say
don't believe the Deros' lies
I used to go caving as a child with my parents and their friends. Our guide couldn't navigate part of the cave because his knees were bad, so his beagle would escort us through that part. It was so awesome.
This is how I feel about diving or skydiving
Imagine never comming out of your comfort zone
There’s leaving your comfort zone and then there’s picking extremely dangerous hobbies. I learned to light myself on fire but spelunking seems reckless
Imagine?
