Tbh I don't think humanity was ready for social media. In the past, complete and utter fuckwits would be shamed into silence. Now, they're all connected to each other, reinforcing their shitty hot takes until they reach a critical mass; attracting other morons like a black hole of idiocy.
Forget technological singularity, we're rapidly approach a singularity of stupidity. Idiocracy was supposed to be a comedy, not a how-to manual for fucks sake!

It says you misused it somehow. I’m not sure what you did to your stupid to misuse it, but you misused both the template and you misused your personal stupid. That’s what you gotta fix.
the fediverse has some side effects with regards to post timestamping. i've noticed i get old posts in the 'new' feed fairly regularly as remote instances rebroadcast stuff that might have failed. post edits seem to reset some of this timestamping also.
but its all pretty specific to whatever server app you employ (lemmy/'bins)
