With Firefox + uBlock Origin you can still be Rick Rolled!
I was gonna say, you guys get YouTube ads? I'm still blocking them, so I'm still a target for Rick-rolling.
I still get ads on my TV unfortunately.
If it's an android TV, I can't recommend SmartTube enough!
Now you missed a chance to link to Never gonna give you up
It's alright, I already tricked someone into looking up a weird dick thing elsewhere on this post 😁
Works on Fire TV as well
If you have a Roku I can't recommend Playlet enough.
Are you sure your adblocker is working? I was having trouble with mine just yesterday when i found out ublock origin has an additional setting you need to click to keep blocking YouTube ads now
Heh, nice try. Sync for Lemmy saved me with their link preview.
But yes, sometimes you need to go into Ublock Origin's settings and manually update to stay ahead of YouTube's updates to their filter blocking.
Lol, i use sync as well! I noticed the same thing when i posted it... hoped perhaps you didn't have the preview like i have... 😅 Figured it was worth taking a shot, in any case!
Never gonna rickroll you, never gonna let you get rickrolled https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/antirickroll
Yay! Like 5% of the market can still enjoy the prank.
The same 5% that recognize the URL and don't fall for it
I still get a little chuckle and smirk whenever I see it though.
The 95% get hit with an even better Rickroll, the Skill Issue.
