Nothing new is disappointing. Give me odyssey 2.
They literally released a new game six months ago
We moved on from that game 5.9 months ago, time for something fresh
(I’m just kidding)
Are the 2d and 3d games made by the same team? I assumed they were different teams
This is Mario Day, no one told them to announce shit just ignore it. They made a press release.
Also yeah Wonder came out but I hated it.
same here, I've played hundreds of hours of Odyssey but the 2d platformers I will barely make it through to the end credits. For a company that produces as many games as Nintendo I think it's reasonable to consider the 2d and 3d mario platformers different series and hold them to independent expectations.
in any case though they're definitely holding off odyssey 2 until the next console release at this point 🫤
It was mentioned before that Nintendo prefers to release only one installment of game on each console. Not a very strict rule, I guess, but still, chances of 2nd 3D Mario on current Switch have always been very low.
Personally, I don't think we will get any major new release on Switch now, but I won't mind being proved wrong.
Another reason to dislike them, yuzu all the way anymore.
I loved the wii and wii U 2D games and the original 4 2D home console games are legitimate classics I hold dear. But wonder missed the mark in a lot of ways, felt boring and somehow both meandering and too short.
I want to play wonder with not my kids, but the camera pisses me TF off in multiplayer bc they always go the dumbest way, and then I get dragged along with them.
