2 had the uncles villa and town to be improved. Quite basic but a lot of fun and welcome addition.

Brotherhood had the contracts and crew to help out.

Cant remember what Revelations brought, besides the hook.

AC2 had this and I liked it. Going back to that game it felt a little bit like that part needed more fleshing out but that could be more modern experiences talking.

We need to be abke to snd people on contracts, call in apprentices to help and customise a base.

The end point I want to get to is moving this pc to my living room and having it serve as my everything console. I am not sure about it dual purposing as a jellyfin server and emulator station but I want to get to a point where anyone else can easily pick up the remote and jump between consoles and games.

They have added new planet types and civilisations. Indont play the game but its being heavily praised all day that theybhave greatly expanded with gas giants, full water planets and lost/failed civilisations. Sounds fairly impactful.

Societal pressure if changing a movie after the fact. The creative process is different to post release. It cant be compared.

Is it under a different name? Is the previous version equally available. Can a consumer make an informed choice about getting the same quality of either version. Are they made aware at purchase it is not the original version?

Art is reflective of its time, be fair shit if they went back and put the snapchat dog filter on Night Fishing at Antibes, more contemporary...cubism is so out.

Subject: Stand Together—It’s Time to Strike

Dear Team,

I’m writing to you not just as a coworker but as someone who shares your frustrations, your hard work, and your struggles. We have been patient. We have voiced our concerns. We have asked for better wages, fair treatment, and safer working conditions. And yet, our demands continue to be ignored.

Enough is enough.

We deserve to be heard, and we deserve to be valued. A strike is not an easy decision, but it is a necessary one. If we stand together, we send a powerful message: we will not be taken for granted.

By refusing to work, we make it clear that this company runs because of us—our labor, our dedication, our time. Without us, there is no business. It is time to remind management of our worth.

I urge you to stand with me and with each other. Strength is in numbers, and unity is our greatest tool. We are not alone in this fight—workers across industries have taken similar actions and won better conditions because they stood firm together.

Let’s take action. Let’s make change happen. Join the strike.

In solidarity, [Your Name]

Hey! So I have always wanted to make the jump to linux and pc gaming and figured I would do them both together. I would not consider myself techy, just aout tech literate in that I am aware of how much I dont know.

I have linux mint, on a mid to late i5 w/16gb memory. I wanted initially to make a home server but I have jusy been poking around and ended up trying to play all the games I have in attic through emulators and the like.

So I got loads of emulators, I use Cartridge which is a Lutris fork. It just seemed cleaner and worked when I tried it out. In that I had been booting into PCSX2 and finally playing MK Deception again. After three evenings poking and gaming PCSX2 shuts down every time I try to boot a game.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled and changed from 1.7.xx to 2.2 to the nightly 2.3 (I think). I cannot get it to work.

I have so many questions but if I could get back to Konquest I would be so happy, and bother you all later.

Hey,

I recently made the jump to linux. I wanted to sart PC gaming and figured I would start as I mean to go on.

I am having an issue with getting my ps5 controller connected. Steam recognises it, everything mapped fine. I open pcsx2 and it thinks its a dualshock 2. I cannot get it to work in game. I have remapped and everything but when I get to a menu, the D pad will work but selecting an option won't.

Any advice appreciated.

Can someone please tell me why the gmail android app does not allow for this? Is there some system condition that disables this feature. It is surely related to android becuase iOS has signature matching.

Google owns every step of this.

Was really excited for a back to basics game and I still am but there are some basic basic issues with it. Minor but annoying.

My kid came in while I was playing so I turned off blood, but it wouldny allow me to "change difficulty a this time".

i tried to eavesdrop on a guard, could not have got closer and nothing happened. No prompt to listen and nothing said, had to give up on steslth to progress the game.

Also absolutely hate cursors on console and the Uconnect dialogue boxes incessantly popping up

Wedding Confusion (self.malefashionadvice)
submitted 10 months ago by Squizzy to c/malefashionadvice

I an lost with what to wear to my wedding. It is a summertime lakehouse venue and I am thinking 100 different things.

Half of me wants to stand out that bit extra and get a dinner jacket/tux. Or else a three piece mismatched set, like matching waistcoat and pants with a different colour jacket.

The other half wants simplicity with a two piece and suspenders.

I like three pieces because they keep you looking together throughout a long day and night.

I am mostly against check patterns and am leaning toward greens like sage or emerald with cream but open to options. Happy with earth tones or natural colours.

I need to get up without waking the wife and kids, I got a smartwatch to vibrate and it woke her. The alarm is always going to wake the house.

Is there anything else?

I watched beautiful Kate years and years ago, my first Mendo movie, and I loved the music. I used to listen to the main theme and "this little Bird" on YouTube but the latter has been removed from everywhere I've searched.

If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.

I check the spec and it has a wifi chip but the os can't see it.

I had a wifi toggle on windows 11 when I got the PC and also when I used a mint USB boot. Driver manager sees nothing to update or install.

The mint community page has failed to post my question a few times so now I'm here.

I want to get a sync box but they are not 4k120. The FancyLEDs box only has one input meaning I can't use a PS5 and set top box or Apple TV.

Any advice or successful set ups?

I am looking for speakers, decent quality and nice looking that doesn't stand out too much. I want it on a bookshelf in the kitchen and another in the sitting room.

I want it to connect to a home server but also Spotify/streaming. And I'd like them to link together.

Basically I want the house listening experience to be seamless when going between different rooms, 2-4 speakers. Audiobooks and some music would be stored on a Nas and most music and podcasts would be Spotify.

I'd prefer to interact with it through my phone, Android if possible but not completely necessary.

In my head I imagine walking into a new room and tapping the speaker with my phone to switch to that speaker.

Is this a real thing?

I just got an i7 8500 I was hoping to use to run my network and server (which I haven't built yet) and I was wondering if it could also be used to run some retro game on and if that would be advisable?

Is it advisable to use dedicated machines for both activities?

If I can use the one machine for both, what distros would you advise?
