Now it makes me wonder, would someone with split personalities be immune to answering the truth

The Lasso Of Truth can only force you to tell what you believe to be true. Not THE truth but YOUR truth

Otherwise you could ask anyone “what happened at the other side of the Universe?” and he would answer correctly.

So it’s more the Lasso of What You Believe. And if you believe you’re the Batman or Napoleon, the Lasso won’t prove you wrong
