BD actually stands for Bondage & Discipline. Domination is part of DS, Domination & Submission. And for completeness, SM = Sadism & Masochism.

That is technically the full name, yes. I have seen people write BDDSSM (usually in parenthesis) sometimes.

If you're going to use parentheses, just go full-on confusion with something like (B[D)(S]M).
