Which apps are specifically turning into fediverse apps? Very curious.

Sync and Boost officially are.

Infinity for Everything (Fediverse) is on GitHub.

wefwef and Memmy are starting to feel like Apollo already.

Connect seems to be inching closer to Relay with each update, and Jerboa gives off RiF vibes.

People need to post about this on reddit more to perhaps encourage the other devs to do the same; might've actually worked for Boost cuz the dev didn't originally plan to port it to Lemmy it seems

Jerboa is crashing for me on start, which isn't a great sign. I just want Boost already!

Probably because blahaj is on 0.17.4, and Jerboa only supports 0.18 and later right now.

Use wefwef or Thunder. And Connect and Liftoff are on the playstore already.

Blahaj just updated!

Jerboa is so incredibly buggy right now though, that it barely worked for me at all. I just switched to Liftoff. It also has its fair share of bugs but at least functions almost reliably.

I have the same problem, maybe some instances need to update.

I am on liftoff right now, which does not let me post on lemmy.world but maybe it will after they update.

I am on connect now and the similarities with relay is why

I've been test driving android apps for lemmy for hours now and it's been fun but I'd love to see one with a RIF UX. Any chance we can convince Andy to develop RIF for lemmy?

I prefer liftoff but I have liked all the apps so far for different reasons.

Secondly the recommendation for Connect. I put it right where RIF used to be and it's been working like a charm.

He's doing one for Tildes apparently but I'd love to see one for Lemmy

I know Boost is going to become a Lemmy app. You can even "preorder" it on the playstore and itll download on your device as soon as its released.

Wait Boost is becoming a Lemmy app? You got any more info?

Yes, here's a link for you: https://lemmy.world/post/872278. /c/[email protected] is the new community for it.

Sync is, and I'd be surprised if we don't get a fedi fork of Infinity and the other open-source reddit apps at some point!
