Hatred is the only part of these people’s platform.
It's like a cheat code for winning over stupid people. Us social apes instinctually band together against things we feel threaten us. These douchebags just keep crying wolf, then bear, then cougar, then three headed rattlesnake, and the list goes on, and ride that fear to further their careers. A disappointingly large portion of the population never seems to notice how so many of these issues are entirely fictional.
Yeah I feel weird about this one. She's a self-hating hypocrite and she's toxic, but attacking her sexuality is extremely not something I'm comfortable with. There is, on the other hand, an allegation that she seuxally assaulted someone, so I guess it makes sense that they're looking for this stuff.
But maybe stop telling the press about it? Do your investigation in private and get it done.
It’s not (or shouldn’t be) about attacking her sexuality but highlighting the hypocrisy of her position. Sex sells but in principle it’s the same as if she started a group devoted to outlawing tiktok as immoral and then had her tiktok account exposed
She sure is comfortable attacking anyone else's so why is she off-limits now?
Because that was always off-limits. For her and for you, too.
Principle
If you say you're against punching people in the face you can't punch someone to stop them
I guess, who knows
If you are against violence and refuse to use it, sooner or later someone will use violence against you, and you will lose because you refuse to fight back.
What is your principle worth when you've been beaten to a bloody pulp?
This is what the paradox of tolerance addresses.
What? If there's someone walking around punching a bunch of people in the face and I'm very anti-face-punching, 100% I'm going to go against my principles of not punching the one time to punch that person in the face. They should then, hopefully, understand what their actions were doing to those around them and develop a sense of empathy.
I feel this is as justified as outing Republican politicians who have spent their days in congress making anti-LGBT+ legislation and spending their evenings with rentboys.
It's the hypocrisy that I dislike so much.
If she were a shit person preaching shit ideas but living by them? I'll still disagree but it won't be nearly as insulting as someone saying one thing and doing another.
Do as I say not as I do very much appears to be part of the GOP these days and it seems like every huckster and whore is getting in on the grift. It doesn't matter how you actually live your life; as long as you can tell certain people how they can live theirs that shadowy PAC money will trickle down.
Pointing out her hypocrisy and making her feel bad about being a judgemental cunt is not attacking her sexuality. It's attacking the front she's trying to sell, don't confuse these two.
If you're not seeing the homophobia every time one of these is posted, you're not looking.
I don't doubt there are people upset that she had sex with a woman on camera, but those people are the ones who are fans of her political PTO bs. Personally I get as many LOLs no matter who she filmed herself fucking because the moral judgement I'm making is about her ability to accurately portray her 'beliefs' in her actions.
I thought the allegation involved her husband assaulting the woman they had threesomes with. However, I haven't made any special effort to keep track of this situation, so I could be missing something.
She used the ‘no homo’ loophole.
