Isn’t VR still pretty shit?
Yes. Just like the Wii, it's fun for a month and then people realize they don't want to move around in some half-assed way to play their games.
Couple that with the fact you need an empty room dedicated to VR to move around at all, and it's destined to be reserved for pasty-faced white boys with more money than sense.
Everyone I know with a VR headset has it collecting dust.
See that’s exactly my impression.
It's expensive, but a high end rig with a good headset (index or vive), it's pretty great.
