I’m OOTL. What’s with all the “rule” posts?
Just following the rule.
It's a cultural thing from r/196 on reddit.
196 was originally a subreddit on Reddit that had one rule: If you've visited it, you had to post. It kinda became customary to add 'rule' into the title to explain why you've posted. This then became a meme itself, when people tried to integrate the word into post-related titles. This community is basically just a mirror of the subreddit, so it got passed on.
