Got a smoker a few weeks ago so I've been trying different things. I've already done a whole chicken, pork chops, a pork butt, some salmon. Gonna try some brats today for lunch.
Any suggestions as to what to try?
That sounds amazing. I grilled brats on charcoal last weekend and that was already amazing. Smoker would take it to the next level.
The skin ended up being pretty tough, but it had a great taste
I work in meat and I've always been jealous of people who could buy a whole brisket for smoking. If you know enough people to give it away to, I'd go with that.
Brisket is definitely on the list. I'll just need to find a small one, or get a big one and cut it in half or something. I can't do more than 14 or so hours since I need to feed wood chips to my smoker every half hour or so
