Summary

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Donald Trump of living in a "Russian-made disinformation space" due to his administration's talks with Kremlin officials.

He urged Trump's team to be "more truthful" after Trump blamed Kyiv for the war and downplayed U.S. aid contributions.

Zelenskyy’s remarks came as U.S. envoy Keith Kellogg visited Kyiv amid shifting U.S. policy on Russia. Meanwhile, European leaders, feeling sidelined by U.S.-Russia talks, held emergency meetings.

Zelenskyy canceled a Saudi Arabia trip in protest.

I don't get it. How will they sell to the people this total capitulation? I'm not American. As far as I'm informed people there don't like and don't trust Russia and Putin. Won't they see this deal and be like wtf?

There are people here who will tell you that they would trust the Russian government more than their neighbor, if their neighbor ever suggested that industry should be regulated.

I stopped being nice to those neighbors. Feed your own cats. No I'm not turning the music down. Get fucked traitors.

That conjured a great mental image for me of old man Putin setting out little bowls for neighborhood cats with the faces of Elon and Trump.

I've heard it said that Putin is actually the world's richest man, worth over $1 trillion. I could believe it.

The most telling statistic about Russia's trustworthiness is that every single independent country that shares a border with Russia on the West has mandatory military service and those in the same region without a shared border with Russia don't.

They don’t have their own thoughts anymore; they love trump so much, they’re just going along with whatever he says and he says he likes Russia, so they’ve done a complete about-face on the subject.

It was never really about Russia or Putin, but the ideological divide between capitalism and socialism. And authoritarianism and democracy.

Now, we have an authoritarian president. And apparently a third of the country voted for that so. Yeah that's where Americans are at sadly.

As far as I’m informed people there don’t like and don’t trust Russia and Putin.

Not anymore. Much of America is stuck in an information space that sees Russia/Putin as oppressed by liberal propaganda, like they supposedly are.

Much of America doesn’t care, or will see warped versions of this news.

Look at poll exit interviews of Americans, or more recent focus groups. We don’t “see” the same realities anymore, and it’s getting worse.

Wherever you are, friend, beg your country to block or regulate Twitter/Facebook/Tiktok and point to us as what happens when you don’t.
