When reddit did the thing(TM), I was genuinely thinking, "Where do I go now? I have nowhere to go," but then I decided to join lemmy. It's still a bit quiet in some corners, and I still go back to browse a specific sub that means a lot to me every few days, but it looks like I have found a new home on the internet :3
