Because its rude (and illegal) to destroy other people's property.

Probably didn't want to be spied on, yet I'd bet $1000 this person has a smartphone in their pocket with dozens of apps that are selling all their personal data and recoding everything they say.

iirc, immediately after the video, the spear thrower approached the owner of the drone and offered to either pay for a replacement or repair.
