If anyone wants to know the story of FFXIV without needing to play the game. Here is a 73 hour long playlist of all the cutscenes in the game's main story quest.
As a fun reference:
There's a set of cutscenes for one expansion, Heavensward, that became a meme in the community. The devs put a warning that the cutscenes would be so long, you might want to go get a drink and some snacks.
