Ich nehme auch meistens eine günstige Hafermilch - häufig die von Aldi. Ob sie nun im Kaffee flockt oder nicht, ist mir relativ egal ^^..

Wow, looks really great. I didn't even know there was going to be a new Flight Simulator next year.
I did the same some years ago. Just deleted WhatsApp and told everyone I was either available via Signal/Threema or via SMS/Mail. Most of my friends installed Signal alongside WhatsApp over the following weeks.
And this "worked" in a country with over 90 % WhatsApp users ;-).
Well, since I am one of the people who chose the "official" server on Lemmy as well as on Mastodon, I will tell you why I did it: The "official" server will most likely be the one, that has the least chance to be abandoned/closed at some time in contrast to a small server maintained by some student as a side-project (no offense :-) ). I don't want to loose everything and start at zero, so I chose the most "reliable" server.
Great, thank you
No, that's not what I meant :-).
For example:
- I am subscribed to the Technology community on lemmy.ml and the Technology community on beehaw.org
- A new smart Dyson vacuum is released
- There is a topic on both lemmy.ml and beehaw.org and I see them both in my timeline and I have to decide which one I am going to open and comment on
Just deleted my account without any problems. Deleted all posts/comments via Redact before of course...
Yeah, it is kind of confusing for the average user why there is a [email protected] and a [email protected] community. If you subscribe to both you will see topics twice. If you subscribe to only one you can miss things out.
Same for me. I hope that Infinity gets ported to Lemmy someday.
The default font size on the thread overview page is okay, but when you enter a thread it is way too large. When you decrease the font size, the fonts on the overview page become way too small.
I don't know why they are so different and why they are even connected in the settings.
So it is either closed-source with promised encryption (not verifiable) and a lot of meta data collection or open-source without encryption. Tough call. Signal would be best of both worlds, but it seems to be no alternative for you.
Since I don't trust Meta with anything, I would use Telegram if I had to. But I would absolutely not be happy with it.
Try to convince the people around you to use Signal.
I use a PC, a PS5 and a Switch for gaming. Why would I bash against Nintendo? Mario games are great ;-)!
