Thanks for all your hard work on this. I’ve used lasim to transfer my subscriptions to my other accounts on other instances when the lemmy.world downtimes happened last week. I love the portability of the tool.

Austin’s gonna be split in half right through downtown.

What, you don’t like our culturally significant stripmall and 16-lane highway architecture? /s

Yeah that’s where a lot of people called bullshit.

They were/are. They’re just making it official now.

I have never paid full price for an Apple product. I’ve had 3 macbook pros and 5 iphones, all from work. Once I get a tech refresh for a new device, I hand the old one down to my wife. I pay 30% of the iphone price because my employer pays for the plan, and it’s unlocked after 3 months.

A somewhat wealthy relative was throwing out “junk” and giving away anything you’d be interested in. I found two 4TB external HDDs that were used for their home cctv, and an older “defective” magic mouse that ran on batteries. I cleaned the battery contacts and it worked again.

Putting Brave and Firefox next to each other doesn't sit right with me. I'd say Brave is the tech normie's "secure" browser. Then you can put Librewolf next to Firefox.

We like to sit on the end of the middle row so my wife doesn't have to sit next to anyone else (her preference), and we can easily get up if needed without bothering anyone else. That said, it's why we prefer cinemas with fewer seating so our viewing angle isn't bad; unlike large theaters where end seats are too far to the side. Thankfully the IMAX in our city has the last 2 rows shorter than the rest, so seating at the end puts you close to the center; so we don't need to sit at the very side of a huge theater.

I hope all my privacy extensions + facebook container prevented this, if they were using embedded elements on the site.

Cool! Thanks for sharing!

Just installed to test it, thanks! One thing I immediately noticed is that in compact mode, I keep on accidentally downvoting posts when trying to open them. We can already upvote/downvote using arrows on the right side so I think it would be better to just open the post when tapping anywhere on the post title. Great work and I’m loving how snappy it is, and I’m also using the memmy and mlem betas.

A dash of fried garlic or furikake on the rice would be amazing.
