Also easier to steamroll over any legislative resistance if the government is shutdown. I would have mentioned judicial too, but we already know they’ll be on their knees with their mouths open

A lot of this is because of the super shitty NYPD police union the PBA
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Police_Benevolent_Association_of_the_City_of_New_York
They have a history of being intolerant to women and LGBT people on the force. They use their power for exorbitant pay in many cases (like this one). Their head put his and the union’s endorsement for Trump. They give their members “PBA Cards” which are basically get out of jail free cards. And most recently they sued the mayor for putting in a bill that bans them from using steroids.
They’re like if you turned the Joe Rogan podcast into a police officer.
"As we’ve said before, we don't employ these Accenture workers, so it's a matter between them and Accenture," Google spokesperson Courtenay Mencini said in an emailed statement.
“It’s cheaper for us to outsource this labor and as long as Accenture doesn’t try to renegotiate our contract we give fuck-all what happens.”
lol I know I was being sarcastic because the police union’s name is incredibly dumb considering it’s corrupt. It’s like bills that say “American health freedom act” that removes regulations on insurance companies so they can further restrict which providers they feel like covering. Does the opposite of what it says on the tin
