Things can be better than they used to be, and still not be good or acceptable.
Feels like there's been too many catastrophic accidents to call it functional, maybe that's just me

It's fun now, but I'm sure it will still be fun when it's 'out' too
Fuck that, we should not expect people to give up their personal lives and their relationships to appease psychos.
Vinland Saga (almost done with volume 2 leather bound collection), and I keep putting off starting Last Argument of Kings (book 3 in the first law series) for no real reason.
I just eat it faster than it gets soggy

I had similar thoughts to what you say here. Then I played the game anyway. I just finished the story last night at ~95 hours and I loved it. Battle changes took some getting used to, but it ended up being quite fun, and still required tactical thinking and planning. You still get to craft up materia combinations, etc.
