No worries. Easy mistake to make.

Thanks for sharing! There’s also a local instance for [email protected] that I’ve recently taken over moderating.

I never knew about PS2 BBN! I still have my Fat PS2 but doubt I’d have the time to get it working so it was nice to get a look at this. And that was a great video, I love her energy.

I wish we could go back to this. It would certainly increase the longevity of some games.

How are the controls for this? I found FFXIV controls are great, not perfect but great, and was wondering how they compare. Getting a solid control scheme for an MMO isn’t easy.

I ordered it a little late so missed out on getting it for today, but hopefully should have it for the weekend. I’m looking forward to playing this one.

Honestly, they would be stupid not to put it in the collection.

I know Mikami is in a good position to understand these decisions better than us, but this still feels like a cop-out answer. I suspect there is far more to it than a terrible comparison to Monster Hunter.

The DDOS is old news but the article is reporting on XLabs investigation and findings, which they shared today.

I was on the fence for ages over whether it was going to be worth it. Thought I was taking a risk when I ordered the OLED one at release on a whim. It wasn't a risk, the machine is incredible. I love it.

at the very least remakes should include a copy of the original game playable on the same device, either as a port or via emulation.

I'd love to see developers and publishers start to do this. Though I am interested in Tomb Raider and how they handle the graphic toggling, which seems like a half-way point to what you're describing.

Yoshida noted, as a general argument, that Xbox has struggled in Japan due to the low number of users. "Naturally, because we are Japanese developers, we have a desire for many people in our country to play our games," said Yoshida, adding it's "really a tough point in terms of a business standpoint".

He continued: "However, at Square Enix, we have been changing our policy. So now we are moving towards the policy of releasing our games on a multiplatform basis, and we really want as many players as possible to play our titles. So with Final Fantasy 14 as the starting point, we do want to release more Square Enix games on Xbox, and there will be more of our titles released on Xbox. So I hope players will look forward to future things to come on the platform."

We do plan to continue working on expanding functionality for people who love their fashion. And with regards to the two dye channel system, we still haven't updated all of our previous assets for the system, so we are working on that, and we should be able to finish all of the existing assets by patch 7.3. That is our first goal right now. But after we get through that, then we will be thinking about what to do next.

Hi everyone, I’d just like to drop a quick note to say [email protected] moderation has been handed over to myself. The previous mods have been removed. This isn’t due to any specific mismanagement or anything else, but because they were no longer active on Lemmy.

I’m also the moderator at [email protected], so I’m very embedded in the Final Fantasy community at Lemmy and hope I can serve this community well.

Nothing will change immediately but I will be looking into what can be introduced here to help bring some of the usual FFXIV community happenings.

Thanks, have a great day.

Lastnight the game came under DDOS attack yet again. I’ve not been able to log in this morning to see if this has been resolved yet but they’ve not reported the recovery on The Lodestone so I’m assuming it’s still ongoing.

The moderators of [email protected] have not logged in, posted or commented in 12 months. The community is still active and slowly gaining more subscribers. I've reached out to @[email protected] the main moderator there, multiple times without a reply asking if they were willing to transfer, but I've yet to have a reply.

I'm moderator at [email protected] which shares a lot of similar content with it being part of the same series. As [email protected] is still active I'd like to build on what is there and ensure that there is someone able to moderate if required.
