The carnivore diet is a fad diet based on eating large amounts of animal fats and very little of anything else. The patient in this case reported eating nearly 10 pounds of butter, cheese and other fatty foods every day since embarking on the diet—even going so far as to add fat to the hamburgers he consumed daily.

Blood tests showed the patient's cholesterol was approximately four times normal levels. The doctors diagnosed the patient with xanthelasma, a condition in which yellowish deposits of cholesterol build up in various parts of the body—in this case, on the palms, the soles of his feet and his elbows. His case had progressed to the point that some of the cholesterol was pushing through cracks in the skin.

I saw some idiot on here a while ago saying his gf ate a pound of butter everyday and I thought it was insane...

But 10 pounds of fat a day?!

This guy is a fucking idiot, I get there's all types of misinformation about diet these days, but who could think that would be healthy?

Bruh...

You never heard of scabs before?

A strike is personal pain for group gain. And doesn't work when enough individuals choose to work without what the strike is trying to get...

Like, youre completely backwards on this...

Been saying it forever...

Strikes where we stop working isn't effective as it used to be, because labor is cheap and keeps getting cheaper with automation.

But a company can't make money, which means investors can't make money. If people stop buying.

Cut it down to bare minimum essentials and buy the cheapest most ethical options you can.

We don't need a general strike. We need to flip the monopoly board by opting opt of capitalism. With their focus on short term profits, it won't take long for the wealthy to cave.

And anyone that thinks the wealthy haven't been running out country for decades, must have been living in a cave

Everyone's disappointed with the 5000 series...

They're giving up on improving rasterazation and focusing on "ai cores" because they're using gpus to pay for the research into AI.

"Real" core count is going down on the 5000 series.

It's not what gamers want, but they're counting on people just buying the newest before asking if newer is really better. It's why they're already cutting 4000 series production, they just won't give people the option.

I think everything under 4070 super is already discontinued

"They're not sweeping neighborhoods like people are trying to imply," he said.

Followed by:

ICE also made arrests outside a Home Depot in Tucson, Arizona, and in neighborhoods with Dominican immigrants in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with the support of its investigative arm, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

A blurb about them sweeping neighborhoods like people are trying to imply...

It's coming, Pelosi sold her shares like a month ago.

It's going to crash, if not for the reasons she sold for, as more and more people hear she sold, they're going to sell because they'll assume she has insider knowledge due to her office.

Which is why politicians (and spouses) shouldn't be able to directly invest into individual companies.

Even if they aren't doing anything wrong, people will follow them and do what they do. Only a truly ignorant person would believe it doesn't have an effect on other people.

Yep.

Genocide apologists really try to claim it's ok because of how "young" people in Gaza are, but that's because between Israel out right killing them and systemic racism designed to shorten their lives....

It's not exactly easy to live to your adult years in Gaza. And adults dying skews the percentage to mostly kids.

It's like some kids of fucked up Never never land where Captain Hook wasn't just Disney bad. The kids live in hell and Bibi kills them before their brains fully develop at 25.

We're just flipping between people who legitimately believe in Sky Daddy and think he personally talk to them....

Like, now that's Biden gone can we talk about how religious extremists aren't the right choice for the only option to fight a Christofascist?

Dems looked at one of trump's biggest flaws and decided they should meet him halfway, which seems to have been their overall plan considering after Biden, Kamala suddenly became pro-fracking, pro-genocide, pro-borderwall, and against healthcare reform.

The people who have been running the DNC for over 30 years don't want to run a candidate Dem voters want.

They want to run the candidate who is just barely acceptable and win by the slimmest margin to keep oligarch donors happy and fat regardless of who the president is

It's controlled opposition and unless the party pulls it's head out of its ass and picks a good chair...

Well, it's decades late to move on from the party, but the second best time to plant a tree is now.

If we had done it in 2016, the pain would be over by now, but nothing is getting better following the DNCs path, 30 years is long enough to say we gave "moderates" a chance.

It's not a winnable platform.

where everyone is smarter than the guys throwing around billions of dollars.

Then the investor class?

Yeah.

Why, do you think Musk, Bezos, and Bill Gates are geniuses?

They're ruthless businessmesn.

The people running the show since Obama left are the ones that are still pissed he beat Hillary in 08.

Instead of reshaping the DNC, Obama ignored it and Hillary's people have had a hold of it except the brief few months Donna Brazil got in. And since she went public with all the shit they'd been doing, we haven't seen anything else for 8 years.

They know exactly what they're doing won't win elections.

They know exactly what will win elections instead.

But that's not what fills their campaign coffers, so that's not what we'll get from them.

The goals of Dem voters and Dem leadership haven't been aligned for decades.

India leads the world in generating plastic pollution, producing 10.2 million tons a year (9.3 million metric tons), far more than double the next big-polluting nations, Nigeria and Indonesia. China, often villainized for pollution, ranks fourth but is making tremendous strides in reducing waste, Velis said. Other top plastic polluters are Pakistan, Bangladesh, Russia and Brazil. Those eight nations are responsible for more than half of the globe’s plastic pollution, according to the study’s data.

The United States ranks 90th in plastic pollution with more than 52,500 tons (47,600 metric tons) and the United Kingdom ranks 135th with nearly 5,100 tons (4,600 metric tons), according to the study.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration last week set a hearing date to take comment on the proposed historic change in federal drug policy for Dec. 2.

The hearing date means a final decision could well come in the next administration. While it’s possible it could precede the end of President Joe Biden’s term, issuing it before Inauguration Day “would be pretty expedited,” said cannabis lawyer Brian Vicente.

The Democratic presidential nominee will be joined by her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz in an interview with CNN anchor Dana Bash in Savannah, Georgia. The interview will air Thursday at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
