It’s not hate speech though based on the legal description in Canada.

I never mentioned canada or any laws. Do you think it should be considered hate speech?

No way to do inline spoilers?

Let me guess, calling a trans woman male is considered 'hate speech' in your mind?

I moved to lemmy.ca in response to this nonsense.

I'm sick of mod abuse and censorship.

Everything about it was above board, but useful idiots don't like acknowledging how they're being taken advantage of.

I see it all the time because it's the norm.

It's a shame because there were literally no issues before this.

They only did it because they, personally, do not like piracy.

I see it all the time among useful idiots. They just can't stand accepting that they're being taken for a ride.

Yeah. They're liars.

Everyone should jump ship sooner rather than later.

There are clear bad actors on the admin team. There is no hope for lemmy.world.

It was good at first, but it's clear corporate interests have infested the admin team.

I don't have any hope for it now and just encourage other people to move to different instances. I just moved to lemmy.ca in response to this.

This is the glory of federation, after all. Don't give abusers power!

I'm looking for a new home after the asinine decision to ban [email protected]

It's clear lemmy.world has been infested by malicious actors with an agenda. I want to get as far away from this as possible, but still have access to most of the fediverse.

Is there a list of general Lemmy servers? I would like a server that isn't so gung-ho about censorship and instead trusts users to be their own censors.

I know they mentioned they will release a native Linux version in the past, but I'm curious if we've heard any new information about it.
